Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar is calling on her colleagues to respond to the needs of Rural America. “In March, we passed the CARES Act.It was not perfect, we all know that, but it provided $23.5 billion in disaster assistance for farmers and livestock producers impacted by the pandemic.” Klobuchar says there is still money unspent from this effort. Klobuchar referenced the $14 billion in CCC funds, saying Minnesota farmers are waiting for that help.
