McKenzie 4-H member Riley Faller got involved in the organization at an early age and took an interest in exhibiting goats, steers and more recently, sheep. “You learn a lot of responsibility taking care of animals.” As Faller enters her senior year of high school in Watford City, North Dakota, she has some advice for younger 4-H members. “Always put forth your best effort and you’ll see it pay off in the end,” said Faller. “When I was younger, I wasn’t sure how to do things so I watched the older kids and watching them has really helped me be a better showman.” Faller plans to attend college and continue showing livestock in the years ahead.
