A presidential disaster declaration has been made for 18 counties in North Dakota impacted by April flooding. FEMA assistance is now available to townships and counties to pay for the cost of repairing roads. That flooding is estimated to have caused $40 million in damages to roads and other infrastructure in North Dakota.
