Advance Trading Commodity Research Analyst Brian Basting thinks Tuesday’s USDA acreage and quarterly stocks reports have the potential to be big market movers. “We have every indication at this point for a larger than normal 2019 crop being held by producers,” says Basting. “We know it’s been a tremendous challenge for farmers in North Dakota to complete corn harvest and in general, producers across the Midwest have held the old crop corn.” The reports will be released on Tuesday, June 30 at 11 a.m. central time.
