Starting Monday, North Dakota Farm Service Agency county offices (and other USDA centers) will reopen to visitors in the office by appointment only. Visitors are encouraged to wear face coverings during appointments and masks will be available to use at a local county office if you don’t have one. Visitors must schedule an appointment before arrival. Staff will continue working with farmers via phone and using online tools for those not comfortable coming to service centers in person. In Minnesota, county offices are open, but only some are currently accepting in-person appointments. The South Dakota Farm Service Agency has not responded to the Red River Farm Network’s request for comment at this time.
