Tan spot is being found in the fields growing wheat on wheat. University of Minnesota Extension Agronomist Jochum Wiersma says early tan spot infections often feature a yellow discoloring of whole leaves. Research from North Dakota State University and the University of Minnesota have shown the early onset of tan spot can reduce yields by four-to-five bushels per acre.
