Minnesota lawmakers started a special session on Friday and the it continues this week. Ag lobbyist Bruce Kleven says farmers could see more COVID-19 pandemic assistance. “There have been costs for mortality on livestock, disposal and composting. There could be some discussions about funds coming out of there for agriculture.” According to Kleven, there’s still about a 50/50 chance of lawmakers getting something getting done on Section 179 conformity. “What’s tripped it up is the projected budget deficit.”
