World wheat supplies were the biggest surprise in the June USDA Supply and Demand report. USDA pegged world wheat supplies for the 2020/2021 marketing year at 316.1 million metric tons. That comes on a 4.2 million tonne increase in production for India and a two million tonne increase in Australia, which was partially offset by a 1.5 million reduction in Ukraine.
