According to the former State Vice President Anna Stoppleworth, the virtual North Dakota FFA Convention event is generated positive feedback. “We were able to reach many people through social media and promote the convention in a new way,” said Stoppleworth. “One of my friends watched my retiring address. She wasn’t familiar with the FFA, but through the virtual convention, we can show off in a new way.” Reflecting on the year, Stoppleworth said the blue corduroy jacket has changed her life. “It’s given me skills I’ll use for the rest of my life and given me opportunities to travel across the country. I’ve also connected with the most genuine people that have pushed and challenged me to grow. I’ll forever be grateful for the family I met in the blue and gold and I’ll continue to give back to the FFA in the future.”
