Northern Soy Marketing has sent a letter to the U.S. Trade Representative’s Office, seeking the elimination of non-science based trade barriers in the United Kingdom. This group, which represents soybean farmers in North Dakota, Minnesota and South Dakota, cites England’s zero-tolerance for biotech soybeans and mandatory labeling for biotech food ingredients. Northern Soy Marketing wants these issues addressed in the trade negotiations with the United Kingdom.
