The National Council of Farmer Cooperatives has sent a letter to key Trump Administration officials seeking a change in the tax laws. The concern is with the ‘grain glitch’ that was part of the 2017 tax law that limits the Section 199A tax deduction to patronage income. The NCFC says that increases the taxes for co-op members and that was not the intent of Congress.
