The United States and Mexico will maintain its sugar trade provisions for another five years. The U.S. Commerce Department published its intention to maintain the agreement that regulates the amount of sugar that can be exported into the U.S. This year Mexico has the ability to export the largest amount of sugar into the U.S. since the 2014 suspension agreement.
