JBS USA is closing its Greeley, Colorado beef packing plant until April 24 after more than 50 employees tested positive for coronavirus. The facility will wind down operations over the next two days to ensure existing product in the facility can be used, according to the company. This is the second JBS plant to temporarily close, joining the Souderton, Pennsylvania location. In a statement, the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association said the closure of the Greeley plant will have an impact of cattle and beef prices.
