USDA estimated U.S. corn at 97 million acres in Tuesday’s Prospective Plantings report. Brock Associates President Richard Brock said this is friendly to soybeans short term. “The supply of corn is too large and this market is going to struggle. We may get a little rally, but the stocks numbers were higher than what many people expected in corn and soybeans,” said Brock. “The soybean stocks number is overshadowed by the acreage number.”
