Trade is considered a bright spot going into Tuesday’s USDA Quarterly Stocks and Planting Intentions report. “We didn’t lose demand in the agriculture sector during some of the worst times when it comes to the coronavirus outbreak,” says Mike Zuzolo, president, Global Commodity Analytics and Consulting. “In fact, demand picked up substantially since China’s COVID-19 outbreak. We saw a marketing year high in corn export sales of more than 71 million bushels with China being the major buyer this week.”
