Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue says the nation’s food supply system remains strong. Perdue thanks farmers, grocers, stockers and everyone in between during this coronavirus outbreak. “Truck drivers are keeping supply networks open and functional. Food service workers are preparing products for the market, and school lunch workers are keeping children fed during the times of school closures,” he says. “USDA food inspectors continue to ensure the food we eat is safe and nutritious. We are forever grateful.”
