Wimbledon, North Dakota farmer and North Dakota Soybean Growers Association President Joe Ericson is done with harvest and preparing for spring planting. “The warm weather does it. You get optimistic when you start seeing the snow melt. We’re getting there and eager to press the restart button.” Ericson doesn’t expect to change crop plans, but Mother Nature will have the final say. “We probably won’t plant as late if the time comes and we start to push. We’ve learned what happens if you try to push stuff in that shouldn’t be put in.”
