On Sunday, the Federal Reserve cut interest rates to near zero. This is the second time interest rates dropped in less than two weeks. The Fed says the effects of the coronavirus will weigh on economic activity in the near term. “I think it’s a tremendous thing that just took place,” says President Donald Trump. “I don’t know if this has ever happened on a Sunday before, but I would think there are lots of people on Wall Street that are very happy. I didn’t expect this.”
