During the National Farmers Union Convention, Minnesota Farmers Union President Gary Wertish said biofuels support continues to be a priority for members. “Bottom line, it all comes down to getting a fair price on the farm.” Swift county, Minnesota farmer and delegate Harmon Wilts said there’s also climate change to think about. “The more biofuels-type things we can do helps the rural economy and can help in the climate change discussions,” said Wilts. “There’s a bill in the Minnesota legislature looking at a shift from E10 to E15.
