State corn grower caucuses discussed upcoming resolutions that will shape policy positions. Minnesota Corn Growers Association caucus delegate Tom Hague says there are an unusually large number of resolutions this year. “That’s why you have caucuses to talk about it.” Hague says there is a little bit of horse trading that gets done between states. “You go to the state, let them know you have an issue with a resolution and ask if something can be worked out. It was done a lot in the past and we went away from it. We’re seeing it come back now.”
