While coronavirus cases are starting to decline in China, INTL FCStone market analyst Phillip Claussen says incidence of the virus outside of China is increasing, mainly in Japan and South Korea. “That’s one of the difficulties of the virus. The fact you can be asymptomatic for a week and a half or two weeks without showing any symptoms. That continues to have the markets concerned overall.” While the stock market is stable, Claussen thinks the agricultural commodities are being pressured by coronavirus.
