The Minnesota House Agriculture and Food Committee has approved a $675,000 appropriation to improve the University of Minnesota’s diagnostic lab. The enhancements to the lab would be beneficial if a foreign animal disease, like African Swine Fever or Foot and Mouth Disease, entered the state. A companion bill is also moving in the Senate.
