With corn still standing and unworked ground, the 2019 ‘hangover’ will continue into the 2020 growing season. Premium Ag Solutions President Beau Jacobson advises farmers to use the best available decision-making tools. Jacobson says seed and planter technologies can set growers up for a better spring. “High speed planting has changed our world,” said Jacobson. “We can be a little more patient, waiting for the right opportunity for the ground conditions to be correct and move quickly when we can go.” Premium Ag Solutions also customizes planters for its customers. Despite a difficult economy, Jacobson says farmers want to get better. “We can go back to a planter that is ten or 20 years old or brand new and add the control features to put money back in guys’ pockets.” Go online to hear the entire interview.
