NDSU Extension has released its 2020 short and long-term price projections for North Dakota. These planning prices can be used when preparing annual enterprise budgets and annual whole-farm cash flow projections. Compared to the historical average, the short-term forecast is lower for most commodities. The few exceptions would be for corn, winter wheat, dry beans and alfalfa. For livestock, the short-term outlook for slaughter hogs, slaughter lambs and milk is better than the historic average.
