Between Sunday and Monday, there was a 65 percent increase in the number of reported coronavirus cases in Mainland China, moving from 2,700 cases to 4,500. More than 100 deaths have been linked to disease. The seriousness of this health issue is being felt throughout the economy. Businesses have shut down and travel is being restricted. Wuhan, which the epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak, is also a major river shipping port. That may disrupt the movement of agricultural commodities and other parts of the supply chain.
