The North Dakota Gelbvieh Association will hold their annual meeting and Golden Rule Sale Saturday and Sunday in Mandan. Association Vice President and Larson’s Lost River Livestock owner David Larson says a total of 25 lots from nine cosigners will be featured. “There is a strong set of bred and open females, yearling bulls, pick of the herd and embryo lots,” says Larson. “While there may not be as many lots featured this year, the quality is as good as we’ve ever had at this sale.” All lots sell Sunday evening via video auction at the Baymont Inn and Suites. Cattle will be available for viewing beforehand at Kist Livestock in Mandan. Larson says both commercial cattlemen and Gelbvieh and Balancer enthusiasts are invited to attend.
