The Government Accountability Office will investigate the Environmental Protection Agency’s approval of small ethanol refinery waivers. A bipartisan group of House members sought the GAO investigation. There has been a dramatic increase in waivers to the Renewable Fuel Standard in recent years, which has upset corn and ethanol supporters.
