The equity drive continues for Epitome Energy’s proposed soy processing facility in Crookston, Minnesota. Epitome Energy President and CEO Dennis Egan says they’ve also started the permitting process. “We contracted with two firms in Minnesota to do that work. We’ve had our first meeting with them and are in the midst of putting materials together to get an application submitted.” Egan says there are some groups outside of the farming industry interested in equity. This week, Epitome Energy will update local farmers in conjunction to the Small Grain Update meetings. “We’ll have an update meeting on January 8 at 1 p.m. at the University of Minnesota Crookston. Anyone who wants more information on the project is invited to attend.”
