Cornbelt Marketing market analyst Sam Hudson says traders are positioning for the year-end and the January 10 crop report. Hudson is expecting USDA to cut both demand and export numbers in the upcoming USDA report. “Based on demand trajectory, we should expect hefty export demand cuts as well for corn and soybeans, but the U.S. and China trade talks could also make an impact on that.”
