As of January 1, China plans to reduce tariffs on more than 850 foreign products including frozen pork. The Chinese Finance Ministry says the cuts mainly apply to products in short supply and to foreign products for daily use. Food companies have boosted pork imports to replenish supplies as China continues to battle African Swine Fever.
