Much of agriculture is waiting for details of the Phase One U.S. and China trade pact. Van Ahn and Company Chief Operating Officer Kristi Van Ahn is also looking ahead for the January 10 USDA crop report. “In less than one month we’ll have a big crop report finalizing production numbers for the tumultuous growing season. Hopefully, in that timeframe we can put floors in this market and continue to see a rally.” There will still be uncertainty surrounding the numbers in the January report. “They have already stated in September 2020 they will re-evaluate 2018 production numbers.”
