Enrollment for the Minnesota Department of Agriculture’s Dairy Assistance, Investment and Relief Initiative (DAIRI) program will reopen through the end of 2019. To qualify, farmers must have produced less than 160,000 hundredweight of milk in 2018. Farmers will be paid based on production. A farmer already enrolled in the program with their first check won’t need to take action to receive a second check. Those who submitted incomplete applications and have not receive a check must return requested information by December 31 to be eligible. Read more about the program.
