A new world record corn yield was established in the National Corn Growers Association corn yield contest for 2019. Virginia farmer David Hula topped 616 bushels per acre. This is familiar territory for Hula, who set the world record three other times. This is also the fifth time since 2012 that Hula has taken first place in this contest.
