The latest developments on the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement are receiving widespread praise. House Agriculture Committee Chairman Collin Peterson said the USMCA announcement is “great news” for farmers. Peterson said this trade deal preserves market access for U.S. farmers, while making modest gains for dairy and wheat in the Canadian market. North Dakota Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring, who leads the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture, said this trade agreement will provide a “much needed boost” for farmers and ranchers.
