The U.S. Department of Justice has filed a motion to stay the Court of International Trade’s ruling for 90 days. That would provide enough time to file comments with the Commerce Department’s sugar suspension agreements. The United States, the Mexican government and the Mexican sugar industry want the suspension agreements reinstated without change. A decision on this motion could be made anytime before December 6.
