A bipartisan group of lawmakers has sent a letter to the head of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission regarding the current propane shortages for farmers and grain elevators. The lawmakers contend efforts must be taken to maintain a continuous propane supply this winter. The letter was organized by House Agriculture Committee Chairman Collin Peterson with representatives from Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota also signing the letter.
