As a sign of good faith, China will exempt U.S. soybeans, pork and other agricultural commodities from punitive tariffs. On Friday, USDA also announced the sale of 204,000 metric tons of U.S. soybeans to China. High-level trade negotiations between the U.S. and China are expected to resume in early October.
