Matthew Krueger still has 60 acres of spring wheat left to harvest on his East Grand Forks, Minnesota farm. “We were close, but I’m ok with where we’re at. It’s still green and standing, but if it does get rain, it should be ok.” Quality is a big deal for growers. “Thankfully, we haven’t had issues yet. Falling numbers are lower; I’ve had friends with falling numbers around 70, but we haven’t had any that low.”
