Farm Futures expects corn acreage to increase in 2020. In its annual forecast, the media outlet put corn acreage at 94.1 million acres. That’s up 4.5 percent from USDA’s August estimate. Soybean acreage is forecast at 83.6 million acres, down nine percent from the USDA estimate. Farm Futures says spring wheat acres will be down more than six percent next year at 11.6 million acres.
