The USDA Farm Service Agency has updated crop acreage data. The most recent FSA report shows there are nearly 20 million acres enrolled in prevent plant so far in 2019. In Minnesota, there are more than 1.1 million acres enrolled. There are approximately 855,000 acres enrolled in North Dakota, and more than 3.9 prevent plant acres in South Dakota.
