The DTN/Progressive Farmer Digital Yield Tour wrapped up with a national corn yield estimate of just over 163 bushels per acre and a soybean yield of about 44 bushels per acre. That compares to the USDA’s August estimate of 169.5 bushels per acre for corn and 48.5 bushels per acre for soybeans. This information is produced by a satellite-based yield model from Gro Intelligence. Minnesota was one of only two states with the Gro Intelligence corn yield estimate higher than USDA’s latest forecast.
