Lisa Hochhalter is the new executive director of the North Dakota Corn Growers Association. The Barnesville, Minnesota native was working on a part-time basis before starting as the full-time executive director Thursday. “I majored in agricultural communications at NDSU and graduated there about three years ago. I also went to UND Law (School) and got my juris doctorate degree in May and just took the bar exam on Wednesday.” Hochhalter is focused on a more profitable corn industry in North Dakota. “We’re watching trade closely, the USMCA is on top of everybody’s mind.”
