The North Dakota Agriculture Products Utilization Commission awarded $312,375 for seven projects at their July quarterly meeting. Included in the funding is $23,550 for the North Dakota State University Plant Sciences Department to obtain, evaluate and disseminate findings regarding the application of mechanized and semi-mechanized tools for grape growing operations. Summers Manufacturing Company was also awarded $26,250 to develop farm equipment, enabling variable rate tillage.
