The wheat is starting to turn near Hallock, Minnesota. Erik Younggren says harvest will be two to three weeks from now. “It will be an extended harvest,” says Younggren. “We had a month-long planting season because of flooding. Harvest will require some patience.” Younggren says rain after July 4 really helped drier conditions. “Everything exploded after that. So far, we’ve had the right rains and weather.”
