The USDA awarded $100 million to 48 organizations through the Agricultural Trade Promotion Program to help farmers and ranchers identify and access new export markets. The program is part of the $16 billion package President Trump authorized in May to support farmers. Recipients include the American Soybean Association at $12.7 million, the U.S. Meat Export Federation at $10 million and the U.S. Grains Council at $6.83 million. Potatoes USA received $1.4 million in trade support and the U.S. Dry Bean Council received $615,000. This is the second allocation made to organizations this year via the ATP.
