Pioneer soybean breeder Nadia Krasheninnik says there are some concerns about variability in soybean fields. It was a tough spring across the region. “There was some delay in soybean growth. Now, I think the plots are starting to catch up. Iron deficiency chlorosis came and went,” says Krasheninnik. “Now, the majority of the fields are starting to look healthy.” Krasheninnik is also using drone technology to look at soybean traits.
