A large pulse crop company has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. JM Grain, which has offices in Garrison, North Dakota and Great Falls, Montana, is reporting sales of $3.5 million for this year. That compares to average sales of $13 million in the past. The company trades edible beans, peas, lentils and chickpeas and operates its own processing plant.
