GL Crop Consulting owner and agronomist Greg LaPlante says the crop in the southeastern part of North Dakota is variable. “There are soybeans that just got planted and others growing in the fourth trifoliate. The Iron Deficiency Chlorosis showing up is severe and we’ll have to see how the crop comes out of it,” says LaPlante. “The corn is coming along.” There is some prevented plant in the area, too. “We’ll be addressing some of that once it starts to dry up and getting cover crop on the ground.”
