The U.S. Mexico Canada Agreement was one item on the agenda as Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau met with U.S. President Donald Trump in Washington D.C. Thursday. Mexico already ratified the USMCA. The U.S. and Canada still need to ratify the agreement. “The ‘if’ is subject to the Democrats. Let’s see what happens, but I really believe Nancy Pelosi and the House will approve it,” said Trump. “I think the Senate will approve it rapidly.” Trudeau later met with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to discuss passage of the USMCA.
