Northern Crops Marketing and Investments president Brad Paulson doesn’t expect to see substantial planting progress in next Monday’s report. “The dry high ground fields are already seeded. What’s left is the low ground muddy stuff.” Paulson thinks it will be fall before we know how many acres of prevented plant there will be. “Most of the trade is looking for six to ten million prevented plant corn acres, even with this sunny weather.”
